Defense contractor V2X Inc. has teamed with RENK’s Horstman Group to supply advanced suspension systems for the US Marine Corps’ Amphibious Combat Vehicle program. Horstman will deliver its Hydrostrut hydro-pneumatic suspension, which integrates high-pressure nitrogen gas and an oil damper into a compact unit to improve ride performance and free internal vehicle space. The solution supports multiple configurations, including 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 platforms. Deliveries follow a successful military evaluation and will continue through December 2026 as part of the broader effort to modernize the Marine Corps’ aging amphibious fleet.
