A new 36-meter modular surface effect vessel, the Aircat Bengal MC, is under development by Eureka Naval Craft in partnership with Singapore’s Strategic Marine. Designed to perform frigate-class missions despite its smaller size, the ship will serve as a multi-mission platform capable of troop movement, amphibious landings, UAV deployment, electronic warfare support, and mine-clearing tasks. Developed with scalability and flexibility in mind, the vessel provides navies with a lower-cost alternative to large corvettes, expanding operational reach in littoral and coastal environments.
