The UAE has awarded Electro Optic Systems a contract worth $124 million for the acquisition of its Slinger counter-drone remote weapon system, reinforcing the platform’s growing global customer base.
The order covers the full Slinger solution, including weapon stations, cannons, training resources, spare inventories, and support infrastructure. The program will be delivered via Generation 5 Holding in Abu Dhabi.
Production will take place across facilities in both Australia and the United Arab Emirates, with the rollout of the systems planned for 2027.
