India’s SSS Defence has unveiled the Viper Mach 2, an upgraded version of its indigenous sniper rifle platform designed for military, special forces, and law enforcement applications. The new rifle features a redesigned chassis, lighter weight, improved ergonomics, and enhanced compatibility with modern optics and suppressors. Building on the original Viper’s reputation as one of India’s first privately developed sniper systems, the Mach 2 reflects growing domestic capability in precision small arms manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
