Israel’s Ministry of Defense has selected SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH Hopper system under a new procurement agreement valued at approximately $1.9 million. The contract covers the delivery of remote weapon stations and includes options for logistics support and spare components, potentially raising the overall value to $2.5 million. Designed as a compact and versatile standoff weapon platform, the 25-kilogram system can be mounted on vehicles or unmanned systems and integrated into broader battlefield networks. Featuring intelligent targeting and fire-control capabilities, the SMASH Hopper enhances force protection by enabling accurate engagement of both ground-based and airborne threats across a range of operational scenarios.
