The US Department of Defense has introduced an expanded online procurement platform designed to simplify and accelerate the acquisition of counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technologies. Developed through collaboration between Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) and software company Kaizen Laboratories under a $15-million contract, the digital marketplace provides authorized military units, law enforcement agencies, and partner organizations with centralized access to approved anti-drone equipment. Users can compare systems based on operational requirements, examine verified performance data, and purchase a variety of approved technologies, including electronic jammers and kinetic interceptor systems. The initiative is intended to streamline procurement while ensuring rapid access to validated counter-drone capabilities across multiple organizations.
