Poland has signed a cooperation agreement with American defense firms to localize assembly and production of Hydra 70 rockets for the country’s future Apache helicopter force. Under the arrangement, Nitro-Chem will initially assemble the rockets at its Bydgoszcz facility before potentially expanding into a broader regional manufacturing and logistics hub. The rockets can also be paired with APKWS guidance kits, transforming them into low-cost precision-guided munitions suitable for counter-drone and precision-strike missions.
