Denmark has solidified its commitment to the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme by signing the final three agreements—covering R&D, framework governance, and life cycle management—completing its formal accession process. This follows its initial entry into the programme in April 2025 via a Technical Arrangement.

As part of the agreement, Denmark will procure 129 Patria 6×6 armored vehicles, also known as XA-300s, from Finnish defense firm Patria. The €247 million deal is backed by the Danish Accelerationsfonden and reflects the country’s broader push to rebuild and modernize its military forces.

Initial units are expected to arrive by the end of 2025 to support training, with full-scale deliveries commencing in 2026.
