Kongsberg will provide Canada with its Protector RS4 remote weapon system under a new NOK 1.1 billion ($118 million) contract with GDLS-Canada. The systems will equip the Canadian Army’s ACSV fleet and enhance vehicle survivability and battlefield awareness. The RS4 features a stabilized remote weapon station, advanced electro-optical sensors, and continuous target tracking. Designed for multiple platforms, it can support different weapon configurations and operate during mobile or stationary missions. The contract follows an earlier NOK 500 million ($53 million) ACSV-related order.
