KNDS has secured a major artillery contract from Malaysia for 18 CAESAR self-propelled gun systems. The agreement includes provisions for local assembly and industrial participation, reflecting Malaysia’s strategy to enhance indigenous defense capabilities while modernizing its armed forces. The CAESAR system is recognized for its combination of mobility, survivability, and precision fire support, enabling rapid deployment and quick repositioning to avoid counter-battery attacks.
