The Kuwaiti government has officially launched its first light ammunition manufacturing plant, the Nayef facility, aimed at enhancing domestic defense production. Built to NATO standards, the factory will operate with support from China’s NORINCO, which will assist with expertise and training. Leaders highlighted the project as a milestone in strengthening Kuwait’s military-industrial base and long-term self-reliance.
