The Estonian defense procurement agency has expanded its Caesar artillery program with an order for 12 more 155mm systems from KNDS and France. Assigned to a newly formed battalion, the wheeled Caesar complements Estonia’s tracked K9 Thunder howitzers. Designed for mobility and rapid response, the system can deploy within 60 seconds and fire NATO-standard ammunition at ranges beyond 40 kilometers. Deliveries are expected later this year.
