STM has secured its first European contract for the export of KARGU and ALPAGU loitering munitions, establishing a foothold for Turkish autonomous weapons within a NATO and EU member-state. The project includes operational deployment, vehicle integration, and the delivery of battle and combat management software. Rather than a one-off sale, STM will collaborate with the customer to tailor the systems to existing military structures and expand their use across additional platforms. Both systems are already proven in Turkish service, with KARGU capable of swarm missions and ALPAGU designed for rapid precision strikes. The deal follows earlier Turkish defense exports to NATO countries and highlights Turkey’s expanding role in allied defense markets.
