Israeli company Robotican has rolled out a strike-capable version of its ROOSTER drone, a system originally conceived for surveillance in dense and complex environments. The new configuration adds precision-guided strike functions, offering users expanded tactical flexibility.

The upgraded hybrid drone can now carry payloads weighing up to 300 grams (10.6 ounces). This enables the fitting of a lightweight warhead while maintaining the drone’s ability to transport specialized tactical tools.

With this adaptation, the ROOSTER is no longer limited to intelligence and observation missions. It can now operate as a loitering munition, conducting pinpoint strikes in confined operational zones such as tunnels, alleyways, or urban interiors, where larger munitions would be impractical.
