The UK and Australia have started a collaboration to create the next generation of low-cost weapon sub-systems. The initiative will combine the UK’s Modular Weapons Testbed with Australia’s SHARKTOOTH program, which uses “plug-and-launch” modular technology. SHARKTOOTH is a tiny missile currently under development that facilitates the quick integration of several components, including sensors, warheads, guidance systems, and propulsion systems.
