As part of its push for technological superiority, the US Army has contracted SMARTSHOOTER for $13 million to supply its latest handheld fire control systems. The SMASH 2000L, also branded as SMASH 3000, offers smart targeting through integrated artificial intelligence and real-time tracking features. Compact at just 740 grams and powered for 72 hours, it’s ideal for modern infantry scenarios. This contract falls under the army’s “Transformation In Contact” initiative. The Virginia-based US branch of SMARTSHOOTER will lead the execution of this order.
