In a possible transaction of $84 million, Romania’s request to the US State Department for many Guided Bomb Unit (GBU)-39B Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) has been granted. The NATO member intends to purchase from Boeing a pair of inert GBU-39 (T-1)/B practice bombs with fuzes and 400 GBU-39B SDB-I. In addition to program support, logistics, spare parts, and containers, they will be accompanied by ADU-890E computer test set adapter groups, common munitions built-in-test/reprogramming equipment, and GBU-39 tactical training rounds.
