RTX is investing $26.5 million to expand Collins Aerospace’s Largo, Florida, facility to increase production of aviation radars and defense communication systems. The expansion will create over 100 jobs and support programs such as the FAA’s Radar System Replacement initiative, including the Condor Mk3 and ASR-XM radar systems. The upgraded production area is expected to become operational by late 2026.
