Thales has unveiled Sonar 76Nano, a compact, AI-enabled sonar system designed for unmanned vehicles, seabed sensors, and smaller crewed platforms. Developed in just 10 months, it compresses the acoustic performance of Thales’ flagship sonars into a modular, digital-native package. The system supports distributed undersea sensing and integrates with NATO networks, allowing navies to expand detection coverage without relying solely on high-value ships.
