Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions Division announced a $7.7 million IDIQ contract award from Tyonek Aircraft Overhaul, LLC, part of Tyonek Services Group, Inc. and Tyonek Native Corporation. The contract will see Curtiss-Wright deliver a MIL-STD-1553 compatible variant of its Fortress™ combined cockpit voice and flight data recorder for use on U.S. Coast Guard MH-65E Dolphin and MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters. The agreement covers a one-year base period plus a four-year option.
The Fortress recorder, engineered for military rotorcraft and fixed-wing platforms, offers advanced data acquisition capabilities that can adapt to future mission requirements, further solidifying Curtiss-Wright’s leadership in the flight data recording market.
