At DSEI 2025, Rafael introduced the Iron Beam 450, the most advanced version of its laser-based air defense systems. The platform’s 450-mm aperture enables extended reach and rapid engagement against rockets, UAVs, and mortars. Compared with previous models, it delivers stronger performance, greater reliability, and reduced operating costs. Alongside the Iron Beam-M and Lite Beam, the new system highlights Rafael’s efforts to diversify laser defense solutions. With its compact footprint and improved mobility, the Iron Beam 450 is expected to support next-generation integrated air defense networks.
