The US Navy has procured Textron Systems’ Tsunami unmanned surface vessel for evaluation under the AUKUS partnership, supporting joint experimentation with autonomous maritime platforms. The gasoline-powered USV will be delivered to the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific to support studies on long-range, low-cost uncrewed operations across multiple warfighting domains.
