Amid rising tensions with China, the Taiwanese Navy has placed an order for domestically produced exploding drones to enhance its aerial strike capabilities. These drones, developed by the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) and currently undergoing final certification tests as the Loitering Munition 1, are equipped with high-explosive warheads. They are designed to neutralize armored vehicles, enemy personnel, and other high-value targets.
