L3Harris reported a record-setting year in 2025 with deliveries approaching half a million fuzes, highlighting intensified munitions production across the United States and allied defense networks. Output rose sharply from the previous year’s 280,000 units, reflecting an approximately 80 percent year-over-year increase. Company officials attributed the expansion to ongoing DoD procurement programs and allied resupply requirements aimed at strengthening operational readiness and replenishing stockpiles. Fuzes—critical components governing weapon detonation timing and safety—play a central role in missile systems and air defense platforms. The growth follows significant multiyear agreements, notably the U.S. Army’s extended M762A1 and M767A1 electronic timing fuze contract valued at up to $872.4 million. Further inventory and sustainment contracts in 2025, including work with Ogden Air Logistics Complex, signaled continued long-term pressure on ammunition supply chains.
