As part of ongoing initiatives to modernize its defense capabilities and improve relations with Beijing, Morocco has purchased Chinese-made TB-001K “Scorpion” reconnaissance and strike drones. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), created by Sichuan Tengden Sci-Tech Innovation Co., has a twin-tail architecture and dual engines, which greatly increases its maneuverability. Additionally, the drone has a remarkable operating range of up to 6,000 kilometers (3,728 miles) and can stay in the air for up to 35 hours.
