The complete autonomous launch and recovery system (ALARS) for unmanned surface vehicles (USV) has been unveiled by Maritime Tactical Systems (MARTAC) in partnership with Sealartec. It facilitates the independent deployment and retrieval of MARTAC’s MANTAS T8 and T12 USVs from MARTAC’s Devil Ray T38 USV. The Devil Ray T38 is 11 meters (36 feet) in length, while the T8 and T12 are 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) and 3.6 meters (11.8 feet) in length, respectively.
