Lockheed Martin has secured a major support contract to sustain and modernize the advanced targeting and pilot vision systems installed on AH-64 Apache attack helicopters worldwide. The Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) combines electro-optical imaging, infrared sensing, laser designation, and advanced targeting technologies to provide crews with exceptional situational awareness during day, night, and adverse weather operations. Ongoing upgrades across the Apache fleet include improved cockpit displays, enhanced mission computing, counter-unmanned aircraft capabilities, and integration with launched effects, significantly expanding battlefield awareness and combat effectiveness. The contract supports both US Army aircraft and numerous international Apache operators, ensuring continued operational readiness for one of the world’s most capable attack helicopters.
