The HAMMER loitering attack drone reflects Edinburgh Drone Company’s focus on producing affordable, scalable strike systems suited to high-intensity conflict. Developed with Aero Solutions, the platform combines modular payload options with extended-range capability, enabling flexible employment across a range of tactical scenarios. With a standard range of 22 kilometers and an extended option reaching 50 kilometers, HAMMER allows forces to engage targets while minimizing exposure to enemy defenses. The drone’s catapult launch system and optional battery extensions further enhance operational flexibility. Designed around reusable cassettes and RPG-style warheads, the system supports multiple munition configurations. Integrated safety features, including controlled arming and flight termination, reduce risk during launch and recovery operations. Unveiled at the company’s Haddington site, HAMMER has already demonstrated significant armor penetration during testing. According to EDC, the drone’s design prioritizes production efficiency and cost control, allowing rapid scaling without complex manufacturing processes, positioning it as a viable mass-use strike asset.
