AeroVironment, Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, home to the UAS Denmark Test Center, to explore collaborative use of the center’s broad airspace and state-of-the-art test facilities. This agreement aims to support AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstration flights, mission training, and customer integration activities throughout the region.
The partnership is expected to drive joint research and development initiatives while accelerating the growth of the UAS Denmark Test Center as a premier regional hub for UAS innovation and operational testing.
Following AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), where it is delivering advanced UAS platforms, training, and support, this MOU strengthens AV’s commitment to providing tactical advantages through proven, scalable UAS technologies.
By formalizing this cooperation, AeroVironment continues to broaden its international partnerships and enhance its ability to support allied forces with the training and tools needed to operate effectively in complex environments.
