The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) of India and the Indian Navy have successfully test-fired an underwater sea mine that was created in the country. The Multi-Influence Ground Mine is intended to improve the navy’s ability to counter modern stealth ships and submarines. It has sensors that can detect acoustic, magnetic, pressure, and underwater electric potential/extra low frequency electric field signatures produced by ships.
