AeroVironment has struck a deal to supply the German Armed Forces with unmanned ground systems that detonate explosives. The package consists of 41 Telemax HT300 advanced drones, specifically designed for improvised explosive device operations and counter-explosive ordnance disposal. The system is built for difficult terrain and has specialized traction, a manipulator arm, and increased maneuverability for “uneven, unstable, and shifting surfaces.”
