The Ukrainian defense tech sector has rolled out the Buntar-3, an electric reconnaissance drone designed for high-efficiency missions in electronic warfare zones. Its key advantage lies in the ability to function without GPS, supported instead by AI-based navigation and operational software.
Equipped with vertical take-off-and-landing technology, the Buntar-3 has a flight duration of up to 3.5 hours and a range of 80 kilometers. It can detect targets at distances of up to 15 kilometers. The system is tailored for front-line use, where traditional drones often falter under heavy jamming conditions, offering Ukraine a more adaptable ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) solution.
