QinetiQ Target Systems Canada supplied Hammerhead unmanned surface vehicle targets for the multinational Exercise Cobra Gold held in Thailand. The drill involved naval forces from several countries, including the United States, Thailand, South Korea, and Singapore. The Hammerhead systems were used to simulate maritime threats, allowing participating forces to practice detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile unmanned vessels. Ten targets were deployed in multiple scenarios to test responses to modern maritime security challenges.
