Through a new logistical and service support contract with Turkish company Baykar, Poland aims to upgrade the operability of its 24 Bayraktar TB2 drones. The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) arranged the three-year maintenance deal, which can be extended for two additional years. This step is set to help Poland bolster NATO’s eastern front in light of rising tensions in Europe.
