General Cherry has introduced AIR SPEED, a high-velocity drone interceptor now in operational use by Ukrainian forces, designed to counter a wide range of enemy unmanned aerial threats. Capable of reaching speeds up to 236 kilometers per hour, the interceptor is optimized for engaging fast, maneuvering targets, including one-way attack drones, reconnaissance UAVs, and loitering munitions. Its compact 8-inch frame enhances agility and responsiveness during high-speed engagements. AIR SPEED has reportedly demonstrated effectiveness against platforms such as ZALA, Supercam, Eagles, and Lancet-type systems across multiple frontlines. The interceptor complements General Cherry’s broader counter-UAV portfolio, including the BULLET and AIR Pro systems, and is now available through Ukraine’s Brave1 defense technology platform.
