AV and Arkeus have integrated the AI-powered Hyperspectral Optical Radar (HSOR) onto the JUMP 20 UAS, advancing wide-area surveillance and reconnaissance missions. HSOR’s hyperspectral imaging analyzes light patterns to classify materials and environments, providing actionable intelligence over diverse terrains without hardware changes. The system boasts over eight times the range of conventional infrared/optical sensors and supports missions from counter-narcotics to search and rescue. The JUMP 20 features vertical takeoff and landing, 13 hours of endurance, and flexible payload options, with beyond-line-of-sight control extending range to 500 nautical miles. Recent milestones include Italy’s $46.6-million order and AV’s introduction of the marinized JUMP 20-X for autonomous maritime missions.
