A $102.3 million contract has been signed by Boeing-owned Insitu to supply the US Navy with more RQ-21 Blackjack and MQ-27 ScanEagle unmanned aerial vehicles. The contract mandates that 21 of the RQ-21A little tactical drones and 47 of the MQ-27 surveillance and reconnaissance aerial vehicles be distributed for use in naval force operations, US foreign military sales clients, and other “business partnership capacity efforts.” The package contains turrets, system payloads, support equipment, spare parts, tools, and training.
