HII has completed base-year production of the Lionfish small unmanned underwater vehicle for the US Navy, delivering 42 hulls by the end of 2025. The program supports undersea warfare missions and autonomous operations alongside crewed platforms such as Virginia-class submarines. Based on the Remus 300 design, Lionfish features open architecture for future upgrades and offers long range, deep-water capability, and modular payload integration. Production is set to continue through 2028, with options for up to 200 systems.
