Shift Coastal Technologies has introduced the OceanSled Explorer, an unmanned surface vehicle designed to extend autonomous operations into challenging littoral environments. Measuring 3.6 meters in length and capable of carrying payloads up to 454 kilograms, the USV is optimized for surf zones, estuaries, and riverine missions. Powered by rechargeable batteries and built to operate in high temperatures, the Explorer reaches speeds of up to 6 knots while maintaining stability in complex coastal conditions. Equipped with advanced sensors, real-time data links, and two-way communications, the platform supports ISR, port security, sonar mapping, and maritime logistics. Its modular architecture allows rapid payload reconfiguration, making it suitable for both commercial and defense applications.
