Israeli firm SMARTSHOOTER has secured a $10.7-million follow-on contract to provide SMASH 2000LE fire-control systems to the US Army. The AI-enabled systems combine computer vision, advanced tracking, and networking functions to improve precision engagements against ground and aerial threats such as drones. Deliveries are expected through the third quarter of 2026, with Virginia-based Atlantic Diving Supply supporting execution. The technology has already been used by Israeli forces and integrated with NATO small arms platforms.
