Aselsan has secured a €1.6-billion contract to provide Turkey with indigenous air defense systems, part of the Steel Dome project. The program enhances self-reliance after challenges obtaining Western systems. Deliveries run through 2031, supported by a $1.5-billion production hub that will serve as Europe’s largest air defense facility.
