The Chinese military is fielding augmented reality goggles for tank and IFV operators, allowing crews to “see through” their vehicles’ armor. Linked to exterior cameras, the system provides a panoramic battlefield display on a heads-up interface. By reducing blind spots, it improves tactical awareness, decision-making speed, and crew safety in urban and high-threat combat scenarios.
