US-based Pelican has unveiled a new range of protective cases tailored to the Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon program. These innovative cases are built to protect the latest small arms, specifically the SIG Sauer M7 rifle with the XM157 Vortex sight and the M250 light machine gun, destined to replace older systems like the M4 and M249. The cases are engineered to maintain weapon security and operational readiness in rigorous combat environments. Every case contains a specialized rifle frame system that locks the firearms in place during storage and transportation. Custom foam compartments for magazines and OTIS cleaning kits are included to support maintenance and deployment needs. Designed with soldier feedback, these cases feature practical field-use improvements such as stackable frames, ergonomic grips, and swift-release latches. The frame design is modular, making it adaptable for additional rifle variants as the NGSW program scales across the US Army.
