As part of a deal that was said to have been signed in 2023, Morocco has gotten its first consignment of Turkish Bayraktar Akinci drones. According to Forum FAR Maroc, a semi-official military publication in Rabat, the delivery represents a major move in enhancing the connection between the Royal Moroccan Air Force and Turkey’s defense industry. Although the specific quantity of drones shipped has not been revealed, the milestone represents the beginning of initiatives to make the sophisticated systems operational.
