Teledyne FLIR Defense has been awarded a contract to provide the German Armed Forces with its Black Hornet 4 Personal Reconnaissance Systems. The contract covers an unknown quantity of the tiny drones, along with training and replacement components. The contract’s work will be carried out over a period of two years in collaboration with European Logistic Partners, a regional distribution firm located in Wuppertal. The unmanned aerial systems will join the over 33,000 Black Hornet drones that Teledyne FLIR has previously provided to about 50 nations.
