The MATARIS system introduces a family of remotely operated munitions developed to fill a critical gap in France’s defense inventory. The series includes four types:
MT-10: Rotary-wing, 10 km range
MX-10 DAMOCLES: Quadcopter, 10 km range
MV-25 OSKAR: Fixed-wing, 25 km range
MV-100 VELOCE 330: Fixed-wing, 100 km range
Developed in record time with the support of DELAIR and EOS TECHNOLOGIE, these systems provide flexible, mission-ready solutions. The MX-10 DAMOCLES, developed under the French MoD’s LMS program in just 12 months, will enter service in July 2025. Featuring a quadcopter wing from DELAIR and a fragmentation-incendiary warhead from KNDS Ammo France, the MX-10 can take out infantry, soft targets, and light armored vehicles. The rapid success positions KNDS and DELAIR to become France’s leading short-range MTO suppliers.
The MV-25 OSKAR, developed under the COLIBRI project, has been in operational use in Ukraine just two years after project launch. Following live-fire validation in June 2024, it has earned strong endorsements from both Ukrainian and French military forces.
For medium-range needs, KNDS partnered with EOS TECHNOLOGIE to develop the VELOCE 330, a high-speed (400+ km/h) fixed-wing drone with a 100 km range. It carries a 2.5 kg anti-armor warhead based on the BONUS shell. A successful live-fire test is expected by the end of 2025.
The MATARIS series delivers a safe, versatile, and French-made solution, backed by KNDS’s proven expertise in advanced munitions and developed in unprecedented timeframes.
