To transform its Scout underwater drone into a military-grade platform, the Dutch Ministry of Defense is partnering with local Lobster Robotics.
Scout was first created for commercial use, but because it can identify and categorize underwater items, it is perfect for operations like mine hunting and subsea reconnaissance.
It has sophisticated optics, lighting, and intelligent software that creates high-resolution maps of the seabed, eliminating the need for hours of tedious video analysis.
