Two Hyderabad-based companies have partnered to develop India’s first “dual stealth drone,” featuring a blend of autonomous flight capabilities and cutting-edge stealth materials designed to evade both radar and infrared (IR) detection. The innovation includes a new coating material known as RAMA (Radar Absorption & Multispectral Adaptive), created by Veera Dynamics. This nanotechnology-based material can be applied as a paint or wrap on military platforms, absorbing radar waves and converting them into heat that disperses rapidly—at a rate of 1.5°C per second. The project marks a significant leap in indigenous defense technology and stealth warfare capabilities.
