Curtiss-Wright Corporation has secured a $31 million IDIQ contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) to provide Airborne Mission Processors (AMP) and spare parts for the MQ-4C Triton aircraft under the PMA-262 Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems program, as well as the PMA-290 Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft. The contract also covers Total Lifecycle Management™, training programs, and engineering services for AMP support. All contract work will be executed by Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division through September 2029.

The AMP system features Curtiss-Wright’s advanced MOSA-compliant technology, including the VPX6-1959 single board computer, CHAMP-XD2M high-performance multi-core module, VPX6-684 network switch, and VPX6-4943 GPGPU processing board, as well as critical hardware such as the front panels, fan controllers, and chassis components.

Curtiss-Wright previously announced its role in providing and maintaining MOSA-based Keyed Broad Area Maritime Surveillance Airborne Recorder (K-BAR) NAS solutions for the MQ-4C Triton and upcoming PMA-290 aircraft, which include docking stations, chassis, removable storage devices, and supporting laboratory cabling.
