The Israeli Army has introduced a new remote-controlled engineering vehicle that is said to change the “paradigm of war” in Gaza.
The “Robdozer” is a robotized replica of the D9 bulldozer that is intended to perform front-line operations such as clearing roads, removing debris, and leveling ground—all while keeping operators out of harm’s way.
Additionally, it allows soldiers to conduct other critical engineering tasks without actually entering enemy territory. In operations against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, the Robdozer has already been utilized on a restricted scale.
A senior Israeli military officer said that this is the first time that robotic vehicles have been documented being used in large-scale combat, even if they have been employed in battle in the past.
